 Jim Spira

/ Chairman

Currently serving as chairman of Brulant, Inc., Jim is widely regarded as an expert in developing and implementing winning competitive strategies for major companies worldwide. His 40 years of management consulting experience makes Jim a valuable advisor to Brulant clients across all categories.

Jim co-founded Cleveland Consulting Associates in 1974, which was acquired by Computer Sciences Corporation in 1989, after spending several years with Ernst & Young and A. T. Kearney.  Under his leadership as president and chief executive officer, the firm became the premier consultancy in operations management, serving Fortune 500 manufacturers as well as major distributors and retailers.

From 1995 to 1999, Jim served DiamondCluster International as a senior vice president and managing partner, acting as a knowledge leader in strategy, operations and logistics. It was after his DiamondCluster days that American Greetings needed Jim’s guidance and problem solving skills to re-build and re-position a struggling brand. He leveraged his career-long focus on profit improvement and led a corporate restructuring program generating annual savings in excess of $300 million all the while guiding the nascent AG Interactive team to growth.
